It’s “un”conventional. It works. I like it!
“The world has changed and so must business education” - it’s the tagline for the “Young Entrepreneurs Unconvention” being held in Sydney 15 September... and although it’s an obvious statement it took the people at “The Entourage” to make it happen.
If you are a Gen Y entrepreneur or aspiring entrepreneur this is an event not to miss. It’s brought to you by the great guys at The Entourage whose aim is to connect Australia’s best entrepreneurs with Australia’s next entrepreneurs – something that I (and a lot of others) certainly think they have nailed for this event.
The Unconvention is the largest event for Gen Y entrepreneurs, holding the record for most attendees in Australian history with over 300 entrepreneurs and executives attending each event. With speakers like Matt Barrie (BRW Entrepreneur Of The Year 2011), Ruslan Kogan (Kogan Technologies – enough said!) and Andrew Morello (Winner of ‘The Apprentice’), this event is sure to be packed out with the some of the brightest, most inspirational young (and not so young) entrepreneurs this country has to offer.
No matter where we are all at with our businesses we can all agree there is always more to learn, and who better than from those who have “been there and done that”? The part that impresses me the most about this event is that you can learn a bunch of new stuff and yet have a fun time doing it – something that can be lost in traditional ‘old style’ seminars and conferences.
So if you’re under 35 and are up for a bit of fun and a great chance to network with like-minded people, head over to the "Young Entreprenuers Unconvention" event website and sign up.
Look forward to seeing you there!
